STUDY TRIP TO LONDON 2018/2019

One of the most fascinating and charismatic capitals in the world, with its internationally renowned museums and art galleries and green spaces as far as the eye can see.

London is a deeply cosmopolitan city where, around every corner, you hear a different language. But it’s his British accent and habits like “five o’clock tea” that give him his true charm.

1st Group

The lists of students belonging to each group are posted at the Escola Básica de Mafra, and no changes to the groups formed are possible, as plane tickets are already being issued.

Remaining payments
Until January 8, 2019 - €200.00, per ATM reference;
Until February 8, 2019 - €200.00, by ATM reference.
The ATM reference, valid for both payments, will be sent by the agency to the email's of the students' guardians.


Parents are informed that on the day March 22, 2019 , by 7:00 p.m. whether a meeting will be held at Mafra Basic School Auditorium , where all registered students, their guardians and accompanying teachers must be present to be given all the instructions and rules to be followed throughout the four days of the visit.

On this day, the following documents must be submitted:
  • European Health Card;
  • Photocopy of the student's and guardian's citizenship cards or a printout of them extracted through computer reading;
  • Medical statement or information document relating to a health problem or medication taken by the student.
    • Visit Program (The visit program is common to the three groups of students)
    1st day

    At a time to be agreed, appear at the Escola Básica de Mafra to transfer to Humberto Delgado Airport, boarding scheduled for 7:05 am, bound for London.
    Arrival in London scheduled for 9:55 am and transfer by private bus to the Hotel. In the afternoon, start the visits, on foot, through Trafalgar Square, Downing Street nr 10, Parliament and Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, place of coronation and burial of British monarchs, St. James Park and Buckingham Palace, headquarters of the British monarchy.
    Dinner and accommodation in a hotel or similar.
    2nd Day

    After breakfast, visit Roman Londinium, which has been the capital of England since 1066.
    Special emphasis on the Tower of London (exterior), with its 900 years of history, Tower Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral (exterior) and Millenium Bridge.
    Climb the London Eye ferris wheel.
    Visit to Camden Town.
    Also noteworthy is Covent Garden.
    Dinner and accommodation.

    3rd Day

    After breakfast, visit Madame Tussauds' Wax Museum, the most famous wax museum on the planet, where world figures are portrayed with impressive realism.
    In the afternoon, visit the famous Natural History Museum, one of the most important in the world.
    To have lunch.
    After dinner, walk around Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Chinatown.
    4th Day

    After breakfast, free time in Oxford/Regent Street.
    Return to the guesthouse and transfer by private bus towards the airport for boarding at 4:30 pm to Lisbon. Arrival in Lisbon scheduled for 7:15 pm.
    Transfer to Mafra, arriving at 9:30 pm.
