NOTE

A registration renewal of children who already attend Pre-School Education and students who already attend the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and who intend to remain in the same education and teaching establishment is carried out automatically, without the need to present any request or procedure.


> PRESENTATION OF REGISTRATION

The registration application is submitted via the Internet, on the portalportaldasmatriculas.edu.gov.pt, using authentication using a citizen card, digital mobile key or access credentials to the Finance Portal.


The responsibility for enrollment lies with the guardian when the student is a minor.

If it is not possible to submit an application for registration via the Internet, for a duly proven reason, the registration request can be submitted, in person, at the group's Administrative Services, by prior appointment made only using the following form:

    The presentation of the enrollment request in person will only be carried out at the day and time indicated by Administrative Services, communicated by telephone or by email.

> SCHOOL SOCIAL ACTION


Children and students belonging to households in the 1st and 2nd income brackets, determined for the purposes of granting family allowance, are entitled to benefit from economic aid.

To this end, guardians must provide proof of their position in the family benefit award categories with the Mafra Municipal Council by submitting a document issued by the competent Social Security service or, in the case of a Public Administration worker. , for the processor service.

  • What are the ranking priorities for entry into Pre-School Education?

    In Pre-School Education, existing vacancies in each educational establishment are filled in accordance with the priorities defined in article 10 of Normative Order 6/2018, of April 12, in its current wording.

  • Is enrollment in Basic Education mandatory?

    Enrollment in the 1st Year of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education is mandatory for children who turn 6 years old by September 15th.

    When registering, the person in charge of education must indicate, in order of preference, five educational or teaching establishments, whenever possible, which they intend to attend.

  • Can I enroll my student in an education or teaching establishment outside their area of residence?

    The guardian may enroll his/her student in the education or teaching establishment that he/she considers most appropriate, however, when the education or teaching establishment desired by the guardian is not the one that serves the respective area of residence and this is also Once the desired training path is provided, the person in charge of education bears at his or her own expense the costs or additional costs that may result, particularly with the student's travel, unless the practice of the local authorities involved is different.

  • Can I request the anticipation or postponement of my student's enrollment in the 1st year of schooling?
